Aspen Holly Burke...
Aspen's name says it all. Aspen started skiing at age 2. Glades and freestyle skiing are her passion, and she is obsessed with ski fashion, trends, colors and collections. As part of Aspen's resort review, she scopes out the ski boutiques in town to get a feel for what's hot and what's not in each ski resort town. Her sidebar is critiquing the Winter XGames and most recent ski movies starring Simon Dumont, Bobby Brown, Tom Wallisch, Seth Wescott, Lindsey Vonn and Ingrid Backstrum. Her favorite ski area... Aspen. Favorite après ski food: fondue! Aspen is in Fashion Design at LL Bean, a Textiles, Merchandise and Design Grad from URI.
Ian Burke enjoys researching ski resorts by exploring every trail from top to bottom, and ever terrain park. Ian was captain of his Alpine ski team, graduated from Montana State University, is a certified Level 2 PSIA ski instructor at Big Sky, has a Finance Degree and works in venture capital at Beartooth Group in Montana. Ian reviews terrain parks for ski and snowboarding safety, and is a serious ski gear critic, videographer and photographer. Après ski Ian checks out ski resort climbing walls, zip lines, sledding or tubing hills – Ian’s the guy with boundless energy and a keen eye for quality – he started skiing at age 1! His favorite resort for years was Stowe, and favorite trail – The Goat. Currently skiing off the Tram at Big Sky is his favorite, water skiing and competing in Spartan races in summer.
