Top Men’s Skis for 2017-18

We love to demo skis, try before we buy, and sample the latest greatest ski technology form top ski manufacturers. Like kids in a candy shop, there are so many great skis and unique ski styles to choose from. Some like chocolate, others like licorice. Here are our Top Men’s Skis reviews from Front Ski Groomed Snow Skis, to All Mountain Carvers and Big Mountain Powder Skis.

Top Skis for Groomed Snow

Rossignol Experience 84 HD – loves to carve, it’s versatile and quick – the most turny of the successful Experience family that Rossi has done so well with, from 81 up to 100mm. No surprise you see many ski instructors on the Rossi 84 and 88s.

Volkl RTM 84 continues to carve its name into the top carver ski list. Its stable, quick, numb le and fast. “Ride The Mountain” per its acronym.

Nordica GT Speedmachine– ok we love the name, and the smooth quick playful aspect of this Nordica groomer skis.

Top All Mountain Skis

Head Kore 93 is a new comer, its lightweight, fast, rips turns but its surprisingly smooth. US Ski teamers jump on this ski for their fun runs.

Blizzard Brahma has been a winner for a while, this season is no different. Two sheets of metal, but still it floats and smears when you need to butter your beefy turns on this 88mm ski.

Nordica Enforcer 93 mm is great on hard snow, stable at speed, and just floaty enough to be fun in pow, a great East coast wide ski.

Rossi’s Experience 88s continues to make our great ski list, versatile, fun, forgiving enough with quick stable sense of self. Great front side ski, no wonder all the ski instructor are on them.

All Mountain Wide Powder Ski

Rossignol Soul 7 is fun and fast, its been beefed up a bit for mixed snow, so now its got a quickness you can’t beat. Very versatile, just pardon Rossi’s boring color graphics (snooze).

Nordica Enforcer 100 gets high marks for all conditions. With a 100mm waist, this ski likes everything, leaves everyone behind too, stable at speeds, great in deeper snow and spring slush. We have said it before, bears repeating – Nordica is no longer just a ski boot fleet.

K2 Pinnacle has its following, K2 fans are stoked for this 105 under foot ski with a wood core, and metal edge, its edging its way back into top ski reviews. This ski is light and fun in fluffy snow, with some rippi-ness.

Best Men’s Powder Skis

Nordica Enforcer 110 take the place of its predecessor the Patron at 113. This cool blue and green ski is floaty, intuitive and versatile and still quick. Get your wife a matchy pair of Nordica Santa Ana’s to match and you will be invincible on the mountain.

Rossignol’s Super 7 HD is 116-millimeters with a rocker tapered tip and honeycomb technology that makes it float yet responsive and fast for quick turns.

Armada Tracer 118 and 108 have the sweet floaty factor of our favorite Armada JJ’s, with just enough performance too. A well-thought Armada ski with playfulness and power.

Blizzard Rustler at 114mm gets good marks for its fat floaty shape, but still holds an edge like a bull, hence the bull graphic tip and tail.

Volkl Confession at 117 is stable at high speed but soft and surfy in pow and spring smoosh. Our confession, pleased to see Volkl’s price point has dropped a bit. Now Kastle and K2 are the pricey kids in the shop over a$1000.
