Waterville Valley is one of NH’s best family ski destinations for action-packed winter fun in a beautiful contained White Mountain valley. Waterville Valley is easy to reach, just 10 scenic miles off I-93. Waterville offers terrain from family-friendly mellow Valley Run and Green Peak, to moguls on Bobbie’s Run, all with great views from the 4,004′ Mt Tecumseh summit. The nearby resort village and Town Square offers lodging, dining, cross-country skiing and ice-skating, plus a sports center with indoor tennis and swimming, just a few miles down the Mountain Road, on Corcoran Pond.

Waterville Valley’s 6-person, high-speed bubble White Peaks Express with chairs designed by Porsche will whisk you up the hill in style. A few years back, Green Peak added 45-acres of skiing with a fixed grip triple and 10 new trails. Waterville has everything from a Kids Adventure Trail to larger parks and terrain features in Exhibition Park, Psyched, and South Street Park plus a Superpipe with 18′ walls to host Big Air events.

Waterville Valley has a family friendly vibe, with its on-mountain Schwendi Hutte for dining, and special events on the hill and in the Village. Your family ski trip can be an all-inclusive ski week with lodging in Town Square Village, lifts, lessons, snowshoeing, snow tubing, ice skating, access to the athletic center and swimming pool. Its one of the top family ski resorts in New Hampshire along with Bretton Woods, Loon, Cranmore and Gunstock.

Waterville has ski school and snowboard programs for every age, ability level and preference on up to race training with the WVBBTS (Waterville Valley Black and Blue Trail Smashers), they even have an official NASTAR race course. Waterville is a training hill for up-and-coming racers and a popular midweek spot for the Silver Streaks.

In October of 2010, Waterville Valley was purchased by the Sununu family, yes, that’s the family of two Governors of NH.
