Many fantastic ski destinations are best saved for a romantic (sans kids) retreat, a luxury ski trip, which can be achieved with a persuasive phone call to the grandparents (you know the guilt trip about grandparent quality time).

A weekend of vertical exhilaration, along with a bubbling hot tub, a crackling fire and hot toddies (not hot-tempered toddlers) is just the ticket to rekindle the romance that got the whole family started.

Skiing parents can take a break from kids’ runny noses and boot buckles for a fine inn or cozy lodge in ski country. Can you say “me time, ski time”?!
