White Buffalo Club – Jackson, Wyoming
For your family ski trip to Jackson Wyoming, The White Buffalo Club is great place to stay in the town of Jackson. You are two blocks to the Town Square of this great cowboy ski town, with all its restaurants, shops, movie theatre and art galleries, and you are a short drive to the best skiing in Wyoming at Jackson Hole.
The White Buffalo Club offers families sophisticated spacious suites with western decor with all the comforts of home – like a modern kitchens and elegant stone bathrooms. From the moment you arrive in the artwork filled lobby, you feel like the White Buffalo Club is your private club, and it is. White Buffalo Club opened in 2008, with brand new beautifully appointed suites like our two bedroom suite – very spacious for our family of four, three baths with gorgeous stone walk-in showers, and a giant horseshoe-shaped granite bar kitchen in the main room of the suite with two big flatscreen TVs overhead. Downstairs is the Cellar Restaurant serving great food at night, a game room and spa-like fitness room – in case you didn’t get enough exercise skiing.
It’s a two block walk to the main drag of Jackson, where the world-famous elk arches and cowboy bars are located. You can shop for that cowboy hat, or a Jackson t-shirt, take the kids to Ripley’s Believe It or Not, or visit art galleries filled with photographs and paintings of the beautiful Teton Valley and the elk, bison and coyotes that wander Wyoming.
The White Buffalo Club provides heated indoor parking free with lodging, but you don’t need a car if you catch a coach from the Jackson airport just 15 minutes away and take the free shuttle bus to skiing at Jackson Hole 20-minutes from town. Snow King is an authentic 1939 ski area right in town just a few blocks away worth checking out while you are staying in Jackson. And Grand Targhee is an hour’s drive for great powder skiing in a laid back family-friendly Wyoming ski resort with spectacular Grand Teton scenery.
