Pitztal Glacier offers skiing on Tirol’s Highest Glacier from September through May from the 3,440 m summit. The Pitztal Glacier Ski Area connects with Rifflsee Ski Area to offer 40 kilometers of trails. Vast Freeride opportunities abound.

After riding the Glacier Express Train out of Mittelberg jump on the modern Wildspitzbahn lift and you will soon be at the top of Hinterer Brunnenkogel (3,440 m ). Here you can drop down the many long runs or visit “THE 3440” – the highest of its kind in all Austria! The suspended terrace offers uninterrupted views of the Alpine scenery while the Alpine summits seem to be only a stone’s throw away.
